(As witness the fact that I am currently wearing it, WHILE posting, AND the kid is actually asleep.)

(The first of the long parade of friends and neighbors assigned to bring FOOD just dropped by, and insisted on showing me how to use it. I was initially skeptical, but am now very grateful.)

Today also featured me feeding the kid colostrum out of a shot glass. Sadly, that's about as exciting--well, exciting in a good way--as today has gotten...

Slings are wonderful, God made inventions!!! Great for getting baby to sleep while you get to do normal adult stuff like write LJ posts! The "babywearing" can continue for a long time to come, as evidenced by the fact that Rigel is currently sleeping on my back in a more structured carrier after a nice walk.

Best to you, G, and Peter. Let us know when it's our turn on teh "long parade" and we'll bring some food by. In the meantime, enjoy Peter and rest when you can!
