I had been living up here for less than three days when I was told in no uncertain terms by a hip local that "Harvard Square is overrated, Davis Square is where all the *actually* cool things and people are". I was then dragged into a big ol' bookstore next to a beautiful coffee shop and was willing to accept this premise as correct.

So yeah, Harvard's been a wasteland since at least 2007, as far as I'm concerned. ;)
