15. March:
Gah, OK, so apparently having had to jump through several hoops to get health care through my current employer...they're now dropping us from their health plan at the end of this month. We have two weeks to jump through ANOTHER set of hoops to get BACK on MassHealth. F---.

(And this is why my lenten discipline took a break today.)

...Yeah. I *really* would like to get that research job. Soon. Then I could stop *worrying* about health care.
(They haven't gotten back since last week. No news is not good news in this case. So this was already a bad week, and then today we found THIS out.)

Addendum: List of things I have to do and/or am worrying about:
- Getting my 2015 taxes done (I would like to get this out of the way BEFORE Easter this year)
- Getting my 2014 taxes done. (For the third time, I think. Don't ask.)
- G. is dumping Peter on me again this weekend. Only for an evening...well, maybe an evening and an afternoon...but this is still not very compatible with my existing weekend plans, which basically involved hot cross buns, church stuff, doing my taxes, and maybe having time to breathe.
- Trying to decide whether I am being a doormat for putting up with this, or a bad parent for feeling resentful about this.
- Going out for drinks on Friday with my coworkers. This should be fun in itself, but trying to work out WHERE we're going (and if) before new!coworker disappears to < financial firm > for the rest of the week is one more thing than I needed to think about. Hence stress.
- Choir practice
- Trying to get new job
- Need to get new health insurance
- Want to move out of apartment in August; not sure where I'm going to be working by August.
- F'd-up shoulder
- F'd-up state of the world
- Oh, and of course we got a mass mailing from one of the departments today, and then the mail sorter jammed halfway through it.
- And there's probably more I'm forgetting about.

ETA, 3/16: The one result of a mostly useless conference call with Corporate on the subject was to learn that they're now waiting until the end of NEXT month to drop us from the health plan. So we have some breathing room.
Still no news.
