What do you put on it?
...I mean, I've got stuff. Hydrocortisone creme works well, but isn't a good idea to do regularly; and I have moisturizers, but any that don't make my skin feel sticky and/or slimy. Honestly, in some ways what I find most effective is hand sanitizer, because the alcohol makes it stop itching (and so keeps me from scratching til I bleed), and the moisturizer prevents this process from making my skin worse; and its engineered to get absorbed/evaporate so your skin doesn't feel gross afterwards.

What do you mean by scratchy sweaters?
...Really, any sweater at all, but especially my super-warm LL Bean one. That kind of wool seriously abrades my skin if they get in direct contact (e.g., around my wrists), and sometimes seemingly also even through a layer of other material.
This is why I hated sweaters as a kid.
