I felt strongly that for the John Roberts Memorial Panel at NEFFA, we should sing Candlemas Eve, because it's a song about springtime and about things changing, as the old gets replaced by the new.

AAANND that's how I wound up singing it--solo-in front of two people who'd f'in toured with John and Tony, and at least one person who knew them in grad. school.
