Realm: Those wacky Swedes - Subrealm: where the furniture folds to a much smaller size
Yesterday, we went to Ikea for the first time. Yup, we've been assimilated.
It wasn't REALLY the full Ikea experience, of course. We found what we were looking online, and then went into the store and located it, rather than going on the whole tour. We didn't buy any fish, rye, or lingonberry products; nor did we eat meatballs at any point. And there were no allen wrenches involved.
But our new coatrack IS a true Ikea product, nonetheless. It has a name (Portis); I put it together after unpacking it from an improbably small box; and none of the arms are the same length or design. Ah, Swedish modernism.
