Birthday Party

Just to briefly say that I had my birthday party yesterday, and generally had a great time. Admittedly, a tap for the keg of cider would have been nice, but I was too disorganized to get one before Friday, and by then...all the panicking in the world was not going to get me one. So we ended up siphoning it out, with the keg on the top of the steps with twelve feet of tubing reaching down the stairs to various pitchers. I also discovered that I'd overestimated the amount of cider for the number of people. Ah well, there were many cool people and lots of dessert, including chocolate chip spice cake, pumpkin pie with a hole in it, and much cheese. A good time.
