Mar. 8th, 2012 10:12 amI don't know if I mentioned this over here, but I'm doing some work for my Dad's cousin, who's trying to put together an online freshman comp. textbook. Ironically, I'm currently working on a module on personal branding: ironic both because I'm about the worst person in the world at self-promotionand also because I'm frightfully tempted to add "The Inner Ring" to the reading list...
Meantime, I seem to have left my computer's power cord in the library on Tuesday. Needless to say, it was not there (or in lost&found) when I noticed this the following day. fml. Apparently, today is going to feature spending a bunch of money I don't have (yet). Especially if I end up having to pay someone to retrieve all my files before I have to completely reboot the OS...
fm computer, AND microsoft and HP, and probably AVG.

ETA: OK, apparently I HAVE permission to add The Inner Ring to the reading list! God knows how I should introduce it..."Actually, forget everything all these other people have said: you should concentrate on actually doing a good job and being yourself, because otherwise you will GO TO HELL!"
