May. 18th, 2013 09:24 pmReminder that I'll be offline from tomorrow afternoon til (probably) Friday, as Peter and I will be at my aunt's cabin in NH. (Thank you, Aunt Sue!) So if anyone desperately needs to get in touch, call me!
(Really, if you have my number please feel free to call. I'm pretty much not going to hear another adult voice between Monday afternoon and Friday afternoon, else.)
Tomorrow, I catch an early Pentecost service, and then go off to the Maine Comic Arts Festival. One person whom I know slightly is going to have a table in the exhibitors' room; also, Jeff Smith.
The latter, in fact, did a talk at the public library this afternoon: I skived off from my self-scheduled afternoon of baking and packing to go. He looks much cooler in person than I, at least, had expected from his author portraits in the endpages of Bone. Also, he's apparently getting ready to launch a webcomic, which as I understand will be something like Bone crossed with Settlers of the Stone Age.
This is beyond awesome.
Anyway, comic fest! Then I come back here and throw six gallons of water and a quantity of luggage in the car. And the lasagne. Leaving the lasagne behind would be bad. And I drive to NH.
Now, I must finish All The Dishes.
