(no subject)

Plans for a productive Monday were somewhat sabotaged by sleeping late, by the fact that barbers tend not to be open on Mondays, and by the fact that my attempt to get my glasses fixed in fact resulted in some idiot receptionist-type breaking them. (Screw you, Harvard Square Eyecare.) And also my own general inertia. But perhaps most importantly, by the fact that Readercon had left me with both a small stash of swag books and a burning desire to go read various cool things I had heard about or been reminded of. Hence why I now have a (thick) Jo Walton book out of the library, and some Diana Wynn Jones on order; and while I was there I found they had a copy of Hamster Princess, which I'd been wanting to read, so...

(Did get one job application in, though. Everyone bug me to get the library job thing done.)

And then today I had work. Which made me want to come home and collapse. Well, and drink heavily. And my computer may have a virus; certainly my FB did.

So the real Readercon post is being pushed back yet another day.
