Nov. 16th, 2016 09:25 pmI'm posting this from New Hampshire, from my ex-wife's living room. Yes, it feels kinda bizarre. But she's in Arizona for a few days (clergy conference, if memory serves), and I agreed to look after Peter for this chunk of it.
All this is complicated by...
1) I scheduled an interview with a potential new, less sucky headhunting firm tomorrow. "Well, I guess I can do it by Skype," I though. "But I hate Skype interviews. Hm, how far is it actually from there to their office...Oh, OK: Let's do this in person!"
2) Peter's school is very possibly going to be canceled tomorrow due to a busdrivers' strike.
Incidentally, 3) I have...well, I guess it's just a cold. This afternoon--combined with work-related stress and the fact that I haven't gotten a proper night's sleep since about Sunday--it felt more like the 'flu.
I'm feeling better now, but it's still not ideal.
Heck with it. I'm going to bed. Tomorrow will be frenetic regardless.
