We're in ... probably not quite a drought but we've gotten about 3 cm. of rain in the last month. ETA: OH, NO, that's a drought. Turns out we went 29 days with 0 rain. And then it rained an inch. Two weeks ago.

And meanwhile, North Carolina's flooded by Hurricane Helene, and most of Britain is under flood watches, with more rain expected.
