My point (although it was admittedly not obvious from four words on a program) was that, well, there's a particular sense of entitlement that one stereotypically associates with upper-class Southern women, and there's a particular set of behaviors that are stereotypically associated with Jewish mothers, and while I knew - intellectually - that there were plenty of Jews in the South, I had not reckoned on the possibility that these two groups of women would overlap...
