Peter was here...last weekend. It seems like a while ago, but I guess it's been a busy week.
Not the best visit--I suppose I started it tired, and with low coping-with-people and being positive abilities, which you may recognise as the opposite of what I need to be a really good parent. But we had fun playing Mario Kart, I guess.
This week at work--well, first off it was only a 2.5 day week, for obvious reasons. Also, my boss Finally got 'round to getting my permanent hire paperwork in! Of course, I still need to fill a bunch of forms out and talk to HR a bunch, but hey.
Less positively, despite the volume of paperwork I *still* don't know how health insurance works at MREtc. Which would be important, since we were planning on changing Peter's official status so that G. always lists him as a dependent for tax purposes,* which would make a lot more sense...UNLESS I got cheap health insurance for him. Grr.
Thanksgiving: Went up to Portland, hung out with my brother and various theater people, ate too much (of course). We went for a quick hike yesterday, then I headed home so that we could all get caught up on housekeeping...
Oh, and a week from today I'm going to be bellringing for a wedding. Um, we'll see how that goes...
