choco_froshOK, news:
1) I didn't get the job at Hopkins. Which sucks. Unless the somewhat flakey people with the educational game/consulting website company decide to hire me, it's back to frickin' square one on the job search.
2) I seem to have done something to one finger on my left hand--it now causes me extreme pain if I have to bend it. I'm hoping I remember this happening before, and that it went away without further problems. It's a minor matter, but doesn't help my feeling that the universe is out to get me.
3) Spent today helping to sort the INCREDIBLE amounts of stuff Yalies throw away at the end of the year, and assisting people from various philanthropic organizations in carting it away. This was actually kind of fun, and at $12.50 an hour, plus pizza and all the loot you could haul away, a pretty good deal. (If exhausting). Of course, if I'd been smart, I would have gone with my hunches and worn a pair of pants I hated. As it is, there was an unfortunate incident involving a garbage bag and a leaky paint can, so I'm going to need new jeans.
