Last night, my favorite webcomic won a Hugo.*

Then, shortly after I got home, some @$$hat crashed into my (parked) moped, breaking the windshield and doing some miscellaneous other damage.**No time to identify the vehicle, of course; and the very nice policeman who eventually showed up [after a detour to go break up a fight] pointed out that both the license and the insurance appeared to have expired. Both of which I would have to renew if I'm going to drive this thing again.

So I don't really know how to feel this morning.

*Sadly, I had no one to celebrate this with: going into the CrowBar and loudly asking "So! Who knows who Digger-of-Unnecessarily-Complicated-Tunnels is?" produced no results.

I am very saddened by that! (But thrilled about Digger.)

I think you should feel like someone who's very happy for your favorite webcomic and needs to renew your license?

I'm delighted about Digger's Hugo, but sorry for your moped's damage. Good luck with the whole mess.
