Ummm...OK; apparently putting a new résumé up on Monster means I'm being contacted by three different insurance companies who all want to interview me?

I mean, I guess it would likely be better than the Post Office, so I'm not complaining; but it's pretty darn weird.

I dreamed about you last night. I walked to Portland, which in the dream it was possible to do accidentally; I started around Government Center and ended up on Exchange Street. I think I invited you to the twenty-four-hour sci-fi marathon in February. Exchange Street looked good for being summer and partly fictitious.

I don't *think* so: as I say, all of 'em showed up out of the blue, none of 'em with much in the way of details.
I mean, assuming they don't SUCK (see below), I suppose I might be able to transfer to Boston. But there's a lot of "if"s there.

(It may, of course, be cold-calling. Or, as somebody pointed out on FB, selling on commission. Either of which would be WORSE than the USPO. But it's still worth asking...)
