I am back from Readercon. It was fun again as usual, although there wasn’t any of the “Unexpected meeting and then hanging out with awesome people” that have made past years so memorable. Thursday I spent essentially volunteering non-stop: helping to unpack supplies from storage, then going on a mission to pick up

She’s working on a Jewish/Lithuanian tinged version of Rumpelstiltskin, so I think I actually made the right call. And then I went to her Kaffeeklatsch, too.
(I also, in the course of the day, went to a panel on interplanetary settlement that turned out to be disappointing; did a little volunteering; and hung out in the Con. suite some more.)

Thanks for Becky Chambers. I swallowed them whole, and was struck by the coincidence of plot points when watching this season of "Killjoys."
