COVID Levels (as of 18. March) : After bouncing back up above 500 Bobcat-Robots last week, we are now down to 330 Bobcat Robots. Fingers crossed.

I cam still trying to catch up on household stuff that didn't happen because I was out of town last weekend. And I'm pretty sure I mailed off my taxes WITHOUT a W-2, so I get to do that over again...
ETA: It took FAR too long on hold with the IRS, but I at length determined that I probably don't need to send them the W-2 by separate cover, UNLESS something really funky happens (in which case it'll be up to them to contact me.) So there's THAT, at least.

COVID levels as of 20. March are now below 300 B-Rs.

So apparently today I need to
- Call JP Morgan and tell him that my online sign-in isn't working and make them fix that, so that I can
- Download a detailed annual statement, armed with which I can
- Call the S'ville Office of the Tax Collector to persuade them that Mr. Morgan, as my mortgage holder, has in fact been paying the property taxes for which I've just received a gigantic bill.
(Guldangit, if it turns out that this is because I list my address as "Apt. 3" instead of "Apt. 2" I am going to be SO MAD at everyone.)

I also need to go running, and ideally pick up a library book.

And, y'know, work.

The odds of my actually making it to Tenebrae tonight as planned are not looking good.

ETA: My online account with JP Morgan Chase appears to have decided to let me log on again. WTH. Unfortunately, finding a statement that says "Yes, we paid your property taxes" is, at the very least, less easy than I'd hoped.
Guess we call the Office of the Tax Collector tomorrow...

So - I don't know if I've mentioned this before - I apparently need to resubmit my 2014 AMENDED tax return. wtff.
Which means trying to find my W-2s from back then (and so far I've failed in that), OR getting my employers of four years ago - and there are *seven* of those - to send me new ones.

Meantime, have definitely told friends in Waltham I'm not moving in with them, but while I thought I was going to be touring an apartment (that was going to be expensive but excellent) this weekend, I haven't heard jack about that. SO now I'm a tad worried.

To conclude, fml.

UPDATE: Having downloaded a 1040X, it *looks* like I don't have to include W-2s. (Which makes sense: they presumably already have the things.) Of course, I wish I'd realized that BEFORE I wasted an hour and turned my room upside down in a fruitless quest for them, but...
Now I just have to call them on Monday and figure out what the IRS *does* want...

I have just - I hope - finished filling out my IRS forms for the year. Mass taxes still to go; but what I'm really worrying about is the odds that something will come up funky with my various certificates of insurance coverage, what with all the to-ing and fro-ing with all of them.

On that note, I am really rather looking forward to next year, when I will almost certainly owe the fed. money,* but when I will (Godwillin'an'thecrikdon'rise) have only ONE employer, and ONE health insurance certificate to deal with, rather than 5 W2s, 3 certificates of insurance, and a statement of monies paid to me as an independent contractor...

* This year, the combination of being unemployed (briefly) and underemployed (for seven months or eleven, depending on your definition), plus checking all the Additional Withholding boxes on my I-9s, means that the IRS owes ME money.

In other news, I'm starting to look at my 2016 taxes.
To no one's surprise, I was less broke in 2016 than I was in 2015.

Downsides:
1. Still pretty broke, and
2. my IRS refund is only going to be about $50.

Good thing my finances are TEMPORARILY stable enough that this isn't an issue.
